<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic image development which has excellent charge stability, produces little weakly charged or reversely charged toner, and causes neither toner scattering nor ground stain, even after outputting several ten thousand images in a high temperature and high humidity environment after long-time storage in the high temperature and high humidity environment, and not only in a normal temperature and normal humidity environment but also in a low temperature and low humidity environment. <P>SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic image development contains at least a binder resin, a colorant and a wax, wherein the surface of the toner contains 0.05 to 1.3 at.% of nitrogen atoms, the content of the colorant is 2 to 15 wt.% based on the amount of the toner and the wax has a dispersion diameter of 0.15 to 3 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
