A driving device for an auger having a casing driving unit is provided to improve the manufacturing efficiency by the miniature of a drill and casing driving devices, to make lightweight, to cut down the manufacturing cost, and to cut down on the driving energy cost by applying power to a casing driving device shaft at need. In an auger of a combined use for rotating a drill shaft(2) installed in a gear box(1) for a drill rotating unit and a casing rotating unit, a rotary gear, a casing shaft(4) installed to rotate individually on the drill shaft, and a casing rotating gear(5) using a drill driving unit(8) and a casing driving unit(9), a driving device for the auger comprises a housing(7) for common use formed on one side of the gear box integrally and housing the drill driving unit and the casing driving unit in a bundle, an output shaft, as a two-stage spline type having an upper shaft whose diameter is smaller than a lower shaft, provided with a spline groove for connecting a spline type input shaft in the center of the top, and installed to the housing for common use to ascend and descend, a drill driving gear installed to the upper shaft loosely and engaged with the drill rotating gear, a pinion installed to be engaged with an idle gear engaged with the casing rotating gear and selectively engaged with the lower shaft, a cylinder installed to the bottom of the housing for common use to ascend the output shaft within a stroke range and to apply driving force to the casing driving gear selectively, and an input shaft engaged to a connection groove in the axial direction.
