PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus which allows the preparation of an image having uniformity in space resolution and S/N over the whole image, and a method for restructuring the image intended to use the X-ray CT apparatus. SOLUTION: The method for restructuring the image comprises using a projection data of a subject collected by scanning with X ray to restructure two kinds of images (541, 542) based on two kinds of image restructuring functions which are different from each other in space frequency property, and then mixing the two kinds of images, wherein the two kinds of images are mixed at a ratio which is correspondent to an image property found out from the isocenter to the edge of a picture.
