PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually classify image data stored in record media with image data to be photographed by the collation image data in a face area, whereby the same person is stored by grouping without limiting the number of sorts, so that a search operation of a specific person after stored is simplified. SOLUTION: Since image data are grouped in response to a photographing subject upon photographing, a desired image is easy to search upon playback. Further, when a person is photographed, in many cases, a user's target subject person is the same person.
