PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict a control device having the possibility that a future error occurs from information acquired from control devices in which correctable errors have occurred.SOLUTION: In a failure prediction system for control devices in which a plurality of control devices 3 are connected to a server device 2 through a network 1, a control device includes at least one error correction means, and error transmission means for transmitting error information 4 about an error that occurs in the control device to the server device 2. The server device includes manufacturing information storage means for storing manufacturing information, error information storage means for recording error information, statistical processing means, and failure prediction means. The statistical processing means executes statistical processing on the basis of the manufacturing information recorded in the manufacturing information storage means and the error information recorded in the error information storage means. The failure prediction means predicts a failure of a control device belonging to a control device group 6 composed of control devices in which errors do not occur, on the basis of results of the statistical processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
