A generally flat contact member 10, Fig. 1, is secured within a circular bore (38), (Fig. 3, not shown), of a body (40) by means of parts 22, 24, bent over during the stamping out of the contact, to form resilient " wave " sections, which engage the inside-of the bore (38). The wave sections may be of arcuate cross-section (Fig. 6, not shown) or of rectangular configuration (Fig. 7, not shown), and two sets of bent-over portions may be provided (Fig. 2, not shown). The mating member 12 is bifurcated to engage a similar member at right angles to it. The contact may be of phosphor bronze, copper etc. |
