PURPOSE: A structure of a channel of an air conditioner is provided to prevent back-flow of air due to a bracket fixing a heat exchanger to a cabinet. CONSTITUTION: A structure comprises a fan housing mounted in a cabinet, and having a suction hole and a discharge hole to introduce and discharge air; a fan installed in the fan housing; a heat exchanger slopingly placed on an upper side of the discharge hole of the fan housing; and a bracket(80) fixed on the heat exchanger and the cabinet so that an upper end of the heat exchanger is supported by the cabinet. An air guide(78) is formed on one side of the bracket, and has a section formed as a concave curve to help smooth flow of air. The fan rotates in the fan housing to generate blowing force when a motor works. Air in front of a suction port formed on a lower front side of the cabinet passes the suction port and the suction hole and the discharge hole of the fan housing in turn, and is moved to an upper side of an inside of the cabinet to be guided by the air guide. The air guided by the air guide concentratedly flows to the heat exchanger to be changed into chilled air or hot air through heat exchange with refrigerant, and discharged into a room through a discharge port formed on an upper front side of the cabinet. |
