<p>The shogging of Raschel or warp knitting machines is controlled by two pattern chains, one of which is moved continuously while the other one is racked intermittently. The chains carry lug operations contactless sensors and the drum shaft of the intermittent motion chain features a lug and a sensor. When the signal of the three sensors coincide, then electronic control circuit produces a command for operating the clutch of the intermittently driven unit.</p> |
