PURPOSE: A teaching method for flat panel display(FPD) testing apparatus is provided to shorten teaching time and achieve improved convenience by eliminating the necessity of manual adjustment upon change of models. CONSTITUTION: A teaching method comprises a step(S10) of moving an FPD to the vision mark point of an FPD testing apparatus having a probe arranged onto a table for moving the FPD and a position sensor arranged underneath the table; a step(S20) of aligning center of the FPD to the vision mark; a step(S30) of moving the FPD in a rearward direction; a step(S40) of measuring position value in accordance with the resistance value, while scanning by permitting the probe to contact pattern of the FPD; and a step(S50) of storing the position value for the position where the resistance value is measured.
