PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of reducing power consumption without increasing the polling time. SOLUTION: A master station 2 transmits a multi-address message to plural repeater stations 3-5 with a time interval informed beforehand and the respective repeater stations 3-5 which receive it transmit information to the master station with a predetermined time interval. The master station 2 supplies power to a transmission processing part at least for the time required for the transmission of the multi-address message and the power is supplied to the transmission processing part for a period required for receiving the multi-address message and transmitting the information in the respective repeater stations 3-5. For the respective time intervals for transmitting and receiving the information by the respective repeater stations, the respective repeater stations 3-5 are informed from the master station 2 at the time of starting this system. |
