The fixed armature alternator includes a distributor, two simple and two compound screens and four small sheet metal screens. The four small screens ensure neutralisation of the current induced in the alternator compensation windings. the first screen pair is positioned between the compensation and main windings has a 'U' shape. The sides of the 'U' are fitted against the winding sides, the base facing the central rotor. The second screen is positioned across the inner face of the coil windings as an approximately flat plate. |
