发明名称 REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable an image to be formed, particularly, a transparent image to be formed on a white background, even with a minute quantity of energy such as that supplied by a thermal head and enable a high-contrast image to be constantly obtained, by incorporating at least one high boiling point solvent and at least one additive selected from a specified group into a thermal recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording layer is provided which comprises a resin matrix and an organic low molecular weight substance dispersed in the resin matrix as main constituents and the transparency of which is reversibly varied depending on temperature. The thermal recording layer further comprises at least one high boiling point solvent having a boiling point of at least 200 deg.C and at least one additive. The additive may be a higher fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol, a higher alkyl ether of a polyhydric alcohol, a higher alcohol, a higher alkyl phenol, a higher alkyl amine of a higher fatty acid, a higher fatty acid amide, an oil or fat, a lower olefin oxide adduct of polypropylene glycol or the like.
