PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stably-operated ultrasonic welding machine capable of welding a broad area. SOLUTION: An anvil mechanism which presses the working face 21a of a horn 21 is rotated by the rotary motion of a handle member 31 attached to a casing member 25 for retaining an ultrasonic output device 23 with the horn 21. In addition, the mechanism has an avil 45 which is fitted, in a freely rotating manner, to an anvil bar 41 through an anvil joint 43, a pressing plate 46 for pressing the anvil 45 and an elastic member 49 fixed to the anvil bar 41 near the anvil 45. Thus the anvil mechanism is rotated together with the anvil joint 43 when the pressing plate 46 is actuated to press, and comes into contact with one of the side faces of the elastic member 49 to compress the elastic member 49. |
