摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a charging mechanism for portable radio equipment designed to be able to supply power with relation to power consumption of when the charging mechanism is used by providing a hinge part with an element for power generation capable of relatively rotation through a folding operation and charging current generated by the mutual rotation of the element for power generation to a battery included in an equipment housing through a rectifying circuit. SOLUTION: A hinge part 1 is provided with an element for power generation capable of relatively turning through a folding operation. The element for power generation is composed of dielectric coils 4 provided in a 1st equipment housing 2 side and a pair of hemi-cyclic permanent magnets 5 provided in a 2nd equipment housing 3 side. Then, the coils 4 and the magnets 5 are made to relatively rotate in such a manner that the coils cut a magnetic flux, and the release operation force and folding operation force of a user become the generation source of electromagnetic force. Current generated by the mutual rotation of the element for power generation is charged to an internal battery 8 included in the equipment housing through a rectifying device 6 and a rectifying circuit (charge circuit) 7 including a diode.
