Optical lens decentralisation determination method

The method involves firstly generating an image pattern by irradiating an object (12) with light and reflecting the pattern from a first, oscillating reflective plane (16). The reflection pattern is then projected on to a surface of the lens (2) to be investigated. The image pattern reflected from the lens surface is then formed on a second reflective plane (17) located in parallel to the first reflective plane. The image pattern, reflected from the second plane, is formed on a light-sensitive location-resolving CCD detector (48), to determine the location of the image pattern formed on the detector.
