<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a submarine cable recovery ship which makes submarine cable recovery work safer for workers and more efficient, and makes it possible to shorten its term and to reduce its cost. SOLUTION: A winding drum 2 which is for winding a submarine cable, and has a diameter at least twenty times as large as that of a submarine cable being an object to be wound, and a drive means for rotating this winding drum 2, are provided. Besides, the above-mentioned drive means is a hydraulic motor. Moreover, a rotational speed adjusting means for adjusting the rotational speed of the above-mentioned hydraulic motor by adjusting the hydraulic pressure to be supplied to the above-mentioned hydraulic motor, is provided.</p> |
