<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer to be quickly restored to a high speed operation even when a power supply is instantaneously stopped during high speed operation. SOLUTION: After turning on a power supply, the value of a comparing register 12 is checked. When the register 12 is not set up to a specific value, the specific value is set up in the register 12 and selection data for selecting a ceramic oscillator 2 are simultaneously set up in an oscillation selecting regiter 13 and an auxiliary register 14. When the power supply is instantaneously stopped in a state that the register 12 is set up to the specific value, the value of the register 14 is set up in the register 13.</p> |
