A radio wave environment analyzer of the present invention includes a transmitter for radiating a signal subjected to BPSK (BiPhase Shift Keying) modulation using a PN (Pseudo Noise) code sequence via a transmission antenna. A receiver includes an array antenna for receiving the signal sent from the transmitter. The outputs of antenna elements constituting the array antenna are sequentially selected. Each of these outputs is multiplied by a signal fed from a PN code generator and identical in code sequence with, hut slightly different from, the signal received from the transmitter and inversely spread thereby. The inversely spread signal is transformed to a baseband signal and then subjected to orthogonal detection. A signal processing device displays a delay profile representative of a relation between the power of detected signals and the delay time. In addition, directions of arrival are calculated on the basis of a designated period of time for direction of arrival analysis with the result that a PDA (Power, Delay and Angle) gram is displayed. |
