PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device high in operating speed, small in size, low in cost and capable of improving the image quality by lowering granular feeling in a lower density part while keeping the merits of the binary image. SOLUTION: In this image forming device provided with an intermediate transfer belt of 4-drums tandem type, respective photoreceptor drums 1a, 2a, 3a and 4a are provided with light color developing devices 1c1, 2c1, 3c1 and 4c1 and dark color developing devices 1c2, 2c2, 32 and 4c2 having the same spectroscopic characteristics to perform a multiple transfer processing. In such a manner, the granular feeling at the low density part is lowered by reducing the density per 1 dot while maintaining reproducibility of 1 dot by using the light color toner. Besides, by using the dark color toner at the high density part, the increase of necessary toner quantity is prevented. |
