PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in the line capacity between a base station and slave units incident to communication among slave units. SOLUTION: A base station 1 comprises a channel management table 17 storing the state of service channel for communication among slave units, and first transmitting/receiving means 11-16 for retrieving the channel management table 17 upon receiving a service request and transmitting the number of an unused service channel to slave units 2-1 and 2-2. Each slave 2-1 and 2-2 comprises a second transmitting/receiving means 21-25, 38 for receiving the number of service channel, and a third transmitting/receiving means 26-30, 38 for generating a spread code and an inverse spread code based on the number of service channel, modulating a transmission signal to the opposite slave station with the spread code, and then modulating the spread signal from the opposite slave station with the despread code.
