PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide microwave drying apparatus, in which moisture of packed small pieces of a synthetic resin material is evaporated uniformly in a short time. SOLUTION: A microwave oscillator 3 is installed on the top of a drying container 2. Corrugated metal sheets 6 are provided to the bottom wall and sidewalls of the container. A synthetic resin-made bottom sheet 7 and side sheets 9 are provided in the inside of the metal sheets. The bottom sheet and side sheets are connected to a driving means 12 fixed to the container 2 through an extension/contraction rod 11.
