<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrel tube of a writing implement of which the print provided on the outer surface is hardly worn away, of which the number of components is small and which is easy to assemble and can be obtained economically. <P>SOLUTION: A main-body base part (2) having a length extending from the fore end of the barrel tube to the rear end is prepared by primary molding. Outside the rear part of the main-body base part (2), an outer barrel (3) is provided by secondary molding in the way of two-color molding or insert molding. Moreover, between the fore end of the main-body base part (2) and the fore end of the outer barrel (3), a soft grip part (4) is provided by third molding in the way of the two-color molding or the insert molding. In the case when the print is provided, it is provided on the outer surface of the main-body base part (2) and the outer barrel (3) is formed of a transparent plastic material.
