PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for visualizing flame, which can visualize flame of colorless transparency, even the outdoors, and which is compact and superior in cost performance. SOLUTION: The device for visualizing the flame includes a first optical bandpass filter, having the center of transmission wavelength in the emission spectrum of OH group or water vapor; a first imaging means, consisting of an imaging device for imaging the transmitted light; a second optical bandpass filter, which is close to the emission spectrum of the OH group or water vapor, and in which the wavelength region of transmitting light is not overlapped; a second imaging means, consisting of the imaging device for imaging the transmitted light; a condensing means for guiding the light from a monitoring object space to the first and second imaging means; and an image processing unit having an operation means and display means. The image processing unit extracts a difference image between the image obtained by the first imaging means and the image obtained by the second imaging means, and visualizes the flame on a background image, by superimposing and displaying a binarized and colored image on the image obtained by the second imaging means.
