A method of purifying contaminated river water with low specific gravity into clean river water with high specific gravity is provided to purify contaminated river water by discharging river water on storage water space through siphon passages and to reduce maintenance cost. A method of purifying contaminated river water with low specific gravity into clean river water with high specific gravity comprises the following steps of: connecting an operating cylinder(30) on a rotary shaft(21) of a sluice and installing the sluice on a water way(11) between the both supporting structures(10); fixing a plurality siphon pipes(40) on respective rotary pipes(42) and inserting on a rotary shaft(41); and discharging river water in reservoir water space through each siphon path(44) by forming an inlet(43) and an outlet(45) on the siphon pipe. |
