PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing belt that can facilitate an increase in temperature and improve durability.SOLUTION: A base material layer 2B has a metallic mesh member 21, thereby facilitating an increase in temperature of the mesh member 21 by heating means 3. Flexibility of the base material layer 2B having the mesh member 21 and durability of the entire fixing belt 2 can also be improved. The outer diameter of a fibrous member 212 is 41.7%, which is 40% or more, of the thickness of the entire base material layer 2B, and thereby achieving both ease in increasing the temperature and flexibility of the base material layer 2B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
