PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily couple a transmission member such as an input axis to a carrier without the need of a particular structure such as a spline.SOLUTION: In a planetary gear mechanism, a coupling member 66 is fixedly attached to a transmission member 40 such as an input axis integrally by welding 68. A pinion shaft 55 is fitted and supported to a first support part 52, a second support part 53 and the coupling member 66 of a carrier 42c. The pinion shaft 55 is fixed to the first support part 52 by a fixing member 67. The rotation of the transmission member 40 is transmitted to the pinion shaft 55 via a fitting hole 66d of the coupling member 66 and transmitted to the carrier 42c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
