The invention relates to a motor vehicle engine noise protection panel (1) including: - a heat-compressed fiber layer (2) made of mineral fibers bonded together by a thermosetting binder; and - a heat-compressed polyurethane foam layer (3) substantially extending the entire surface of said fiber layer. Said panel also includes a porous reinforcement layer (4) arranged between said fiber and foam layers. Said reinforcement layer has air flow resistance less than or equal to 10 N.s.m-3. |
