PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the attaching and detaching device for a grille for an air conditioner, which is considered so as not to be released suddenly from a front panel and fall unexpectedly in turning a suction grille. SOLUTION: An attaching and detaching device for a grille for an air conditioner is constituted of a regulating means, consisting of a movable level 9, provided with a retaining pawl 9a for regulating a suction grille so as not to be turned by an angle more than a predetermined value, and a retaining part at the tip end of a hook, and a releasing means, consisting of a movable lever 9 for releasing the regulating means and a retaining unit, which are provided on a hood mounting unit 4 and the hook 7. In this case, a supporting shaft 8 is retained so as not to be released from a bearing unit 5 when the turning angle of the suction grille is regulated by the regulating means while the supporting shaft can be inserted into and removed from the bearing unit by turning the suction grille by an angle more than a predetermined value when the regulating means is released by the releasing means. |
