PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and regularly insert a flexible circuit board by inserting a lock plate into a connector main body while the hole of the flexible circuit board is coupled with the lug of the lock plate. SOLUTION: The tip section of a flexible printed board 11 is inserted into the insertion port of a connector main body 1. When the tip section of the board 11 is inserted to the regular position of the connector main body 1, the lug 10 of the main body 1 is coupled with the hole 14 of the board 11. When a lock plate 3 is pressed in the inserting direction into the main body 1 while the lug 10 of the main body 1 is coupled with the hole 14 of the board 11, conductor foils 12 at the tip section of the board 11 are brought into contact with contact points in the main body 1, and the tip section of the board 11 is pinched between the lock plate 3 and the inner wall of the connector main body 1. Since the lock plate 3 is inserted into the main body 1 while the lug 10 of the main body 1 is coupled with the hole 14 of the board 11, it can be easily judged that the tip of the board 11 is inserted to the regular position in the main body 1. |
