<p>Title cpds are gamma-aminobutytylhistidine (homocarnosine), epsilon-aminovalerylhistidine and epsilon-aminocaproylhistidine, the latter two being novel cpds. They ac. prophylactically in mammals against penicillin-resistant Staph. aureus and Salm. typhi. Serum from treated, recovered animals may be used to protect fresh animals.</p> |
