LASER HARDENING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To make it possible to simultaneously execute hardening of the holes of plural pieces of cylinder blocks so as to shorten the hardening time and to continue a hardening operation even if one unit of laser oscillator goes out of order. CONSTITUTION: This laser hardening device has the plural laser oscillators 2 which have mechanisms to irradiate the inner peripheral surfaces of the holes 7 of the cylinder blocks 1 with laser beams by means of processing heads 25 moving upward and downward into the holes 7 and rotating around the axes of laser beams, shuttle bars 26 which simultaneously transport the cylinder blocks 1 by each of the respective laser oscillators 2 subjected to hardening and processing by these laser oscillators 2 to the processing heads 25 of the adjacent laser oscillators 2 and work pitch feeders 28 which are disposed at these shuttle bars 26 and move the respective hardening points of the cylinder blocks 1 placed thereon under the processing heads 25.
