摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive and high-performance catalyst by activating a transition metal phthalocyanine catalyst deposited on a support by NOx and/or gaseous oxygen, nitric acid and/or oxidation agent. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst based on the transition metal phthalocyanine, such as Cu and Fe, deposited on the support is activated within a gaseous mixture in which the NOx and/or gaseous oxygen is included with a soln. in which the nitric acid and/or oxidation agent is included at a temp. from ordinary temp. to 500 deg.C. The thus resulted catalyst surely removes the oxygen atom- and/or nitrogen atom-contg. compd. by subjecting the various waste gases contg. the volatile org. compd. in which the oxygen and/or nitrogen is included to an oxidative treatment.
