CONSTITUTION:When an operator places the required number of documents on a document placement tray, and inputs, with ten keys, the number 'A' of documents to be placed to indicate the number of documents placed, A is stored in a memory 101 according to the control of a control part 82. The required number of documents are passed over a document table in order by an automatic document conveying means, where images are formed on paper. At this time, a document sensor sends a detection signal, which indicates the number of documents to be passed as the number of documents detected 'B', to the control part 82. The control part 82 compares the number of documents 'A' stored in the memory 101 with the number of documents detected 'B'.
