OPTICAL DISK RECORDING FOR DIRECT ACCESS/REPRODUCTION AND DIRECT ACCESSING REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recorder capable of recording information on a disk so as to allow a user to directly access and reproduce information recorded at a desired position. SOLUTION: A switch 114, a memory 126, a timer 128 and a random number generator 130 are additionally in a normal optical disk recording/reproducing device to record information on a disk 100 so that e.g. the user may directly access/reproduce by the unit of ten minutes after starting a movie. In this case, a first reproduced screen in a pertient time zone on the disk 100 are displayed as many mutually different menu screens and when the user selects a specific menu screen, information of a reproducing time zone corresponding to the menu is directly accessed.
