PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical frame for electric/electronic equipment housing cabinet which is improved in workability at the time of wiring a cable, etc., between cabinets by reducing the projection of a connecting fitting. SOLUTION: This vertical frame is erected at the four corners of an electric/ electronic equipment housing cabinet. This frame is provided with first equipment attaching sides 15 which are arranged in parallel with the front doors 1 of the cabinet and connecting fitting attaching sides 13 which are positioned on the sides of the doors 1 than the sides 15 and the outer ends of which are connected to side panel contacting sides 12. Since a connecting fitting attaching space 20 is constituted on one side of the connecting fitting attaching edges 13 opposite to the doors 1, the connecting fitting 5 can be housed in the space 20 and the projecting section of the fitting 5 can be reduced.
