PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information relaying method realizing the reduction of network traffic and a high-speed response to information terminal equipment while reducing a disk resource when relaying information between an information providing server device and the information terminal equipment. SOLUTION: The last update date information of the information provided to the information terminal equipment is stored, and whether the information distribution-requested from the information terminal equipment is the information stored with the last update date information or not is determined. If the distribution-requested information is determined to have no stored last update date information, the distribution-requested information is acquired from the information providing server device and provided to the information terminal equipment issuing the distribution request, and the distributed information is not stored.
