PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice-washing device equipped with a detachable rice receiver and a detachable rice bran lid and preventing the trouble caused by the overflow of rice or the accumulation of overflowed rice at respective places generated when a user does not set or forgets to set the detachable rice receiver arranged to a rice receiving part to a normal position. SOLUTION: A metering part 3 is provided under the rice storage part 2 for housing rice fixed on the rice-washing device body 1 and a rice washing part 4 is provided under the metering part 3 and a rice discharge passage 34 for discharging rice after washing is provided under the rice washing part 4. Rice bran, or the like, separated in the rice washing part 4 is separated and recovered in a rice bran housing part 5, and the detachable box-shaped rice receiver 33 opened upwardly is provided under the rice discharge passage 34 and a rice reception detection part 40 for detecting whether rice is present in the rice receiver 33 is provided.
