<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for directly selecting and setting a function desired by a user from the display status of its help guide information. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is provided with a display part (30) for displaying display elements corresponding to the respective functions of electronic equipment (1), a storage part (50) for storing help guide information corresponding to the display elements, an operating part (20) for receiving a predetermined operation from a user and a control part (40) for reading the help guide information corresponding to the display elements displayed at the display part from the storage part (50), and for making the display part (30) display the help guide information when the operating part (20) receives a predetermined first operation, and for selecting and setting the function corresponding to the help guide information when the operating part (20) receives a predetermined second operation in the help information display status. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
