PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the inspection time by efficiently performing a discharge inspection for a liquid discharging section. SOLUTION: This liquid discharge inspecting device is equipped with (A) a first inspection section and (B) a second inspection section. In this case, the first inspection section faces either one of liquid discharging sections from among a plurality of the liquid discharging sections being an inspection object which are provided with an interval to each other in a specified direction on a head which is movable in the specified direction. The first inspection section is used to inspect whether the discharge of a liquid is normally performed or not regarding the facing liquid discharging section. The second inspection section faces either one of the liquid discharging sections from among a plurality of the liquid discharging sections, and is used to inspect whether the discharge of the liquid is normally performed or not regarding the facing liquid discharging section. The second inspection section is installed in the specified direction with an interval to the first inspection section, and the interval corresponds to an interval between specified two liquid discharging sections from among a plurality of the liquid discharging sections.
