A shaver is provided to protect the skin of a user and improve efficiency of shaving by heating a shaving blade to an appropriate temperature. A shaver includes a handle(10), and a head(12) with a shaving blade for shaving the skin of a user. The handle is equipped with a power supply unit and a controller(13) for controlling power supply. The head is equipped with a heater(14) which is electrically connected to the controller and applies heat to the shaving blade. Shaving is performed at the state where the shaving blade is heated to a predetermined temperature. The heater receives power through contact portions thereof which are connected to a head attachment/detachment portion(15) of the handle. |
