PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent wireless communication apparatus and wireless communication method, and a computer program capable of properly receiving a multicarrier signal provided with a guard interval between transmission symbols for eliminating inter-symbol interference. SOLUTION: A transmitter side configures a guard interval range with null signals to save transmission power and prevent deterioration in the SNR. A receiver side applies cyclic summation processing for signal components going beyond valid symbol parts of received symbols to valid symbol parts of the opposite side so as to restore the signal energy attenuated at a window function of the transmitter side and make delayed wave components continuous within the valid symbols thereby eliminating inter-subcarrier interference. Since the received symbol does not always exist up to the end of the guard interval, the cyclic summation range is determined depending on an estimate result of a propagation path.
