PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer recording medium capable of finely applying printing even to rough surface paper and excellent in releasability. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer recording medium formed by applying at least one hot-melt ink layer to a base material, one or more kind of a self- adhesiveness imparting resin with a ring and ball softening point of 70 deg.C or higher and an isocyante adduct of polyhydric alcohol ester of higher fatty acid are added to the hot-melt ink layer.
