Disclosed are a cavity filter and a installation method therefor. The cavity filter comprises a cavity, a cable assembly, and a pressing ring. The cavity is provided with a first installation hole and a second installation hole whose internal diameter is greater than the internal diameter of the first installation hole. The first installation hole and the second installation hole are axially parallel to each other and are radially communicated with each other. The cable assembly can be axially installed in the second installation hole, and can be radially pushed into the first installation hole. The cable assembly comprises a coaxial cable and a first connector and a second connector that are respectively located at two ends of the coaxial cable. At least one of the first connector and the second connector is fixed in the first installation hole or the second installation hole by means of the pressing ring. In this manner, the present invention can prevent a cable connected between the connectors from damage by being bent or crushed, thereby improving the transmission quality of signals. |
