PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of polymer nanoparticles using nanobubbles themselves as templates, the polymer nanoparticles obtained by the production method of the polymer nanoparticles, and a formation method of the nanobubbles suitably used for the production method of the polymer nanoparticles.SOLUTION: In a production method of polymer nanoparticles 33, nanobubbles 32 are formed in an aqueous solution 31 of a monomer (I), and the monomer is polymerized by adding a polymerization initiator 41 (II). The polymer nanoparticles 33 are obtained by the production method. In the formation method of the nanobubbles 32, the aqueous solution 31 of the monomer is irradiated with an ultrasonic wave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
