A urine collector comprises a urine container 3 having an inlet channel 1 and a support for the container which is more rigid than the container, the support comprising one portion 4 secured within the container at the inlet channel and a stand portion 5 within the container so that when the collector is placed on a surface the inlet channel is inclined upwardly. A non- return valve, comprising an inwardly extending tapered portion (9, Figs. 2, 3, not shown) of the container inlet, may be provided. A strip (16, Figs, 2, 3, not shown) may be provided to maintain the inlet tube in its inclined position. The stand may be inflated. |
