<p>1305963 Fund regulation AGA AB 23 Feb 1970 [14 March 1969] 8528/70 Heading G3H [Also in Division F4] In a device 1 for the production of a uniform gas pressure at several outlet nozzles 14, (see Division F3-4) the gas, under pressure flows into a tank 2 through a supply pipe 6, which is plugged at the end 9, and discharge nozzles 10, which are so oriented that the gas is directed at corrugated impingement surfaces 11. The gas flows randomly through an equalizing chamber 4, which is defined in the tank 2 by an intermediate wall 3, the wall having openings 15 through which the gas flows into a calming chamber 5, and from there out of the nozzles 14. Preferably, the openings 5 are staggered with respect to the nozzles 14, and have a cross sectional area equal to that of the gas supply pipe 6. The volume of the equalizing chamber is a multiple of the volume of the calming chamber.</p> |
