Pipe line system in a nuclear reactor

Several pipe lines, each consisting of a number of pipe sections, are positioned co-axially so that the external pipe surrounds the internal one, but allows some free play. - The intermediate circular space is then pressurised. - The pipe sections are connected via expansion folds or corrugated sections, the external pipe containing several hinge points, each of which allows one limited movement in different planes. - The intermediate space is connected to the inside of the internal pipe, via connection conduits, containing sealing valves, which are controlled by a pressure supervisor. - The pipe line system transports a gaseous working medium, which has been heated in a nuclear reactor, the pressure of the medium being higher than atmospheric.
