Mattress mfr - by enclosing spring units in thermally shrinkable casings of woven synthetic fabrics

Mattresses are mfd. by placing the spring units into parallelopiped casings made of sewn blanks of fabric woven from polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene and/or polyethylene fibres and passing the casings which initially have a larger volume than the volume of spring units through an oven to shrink the casings onto the spring units.
