Adjustable door frame fitting - has wing nut clamping sliding tubes with spring mounted insert rod
摘要

The adjustable fitment consist of a pipe (b) which slides into pipe (a) and is locked in the required position by means of a wing-nut (c). A threaded rod (d) is inserted into the pipe (b). The pre-stressed spring (f) can push the threaded rod (d) out of the pipe (b) up to a maximum distance equal to the length of rod (e). Alternatively, the threaded rod (d) can be pressed onto the pipe (b) until it touches the nut (g). The endplates (h) can have a coating (i) made of rubber, to provide better adhesion to the door-frame.
