PURPOSE:To realize a transmissive color TV apparatus having a bright screen at both the center and circumference areas along with a wide picture angle, by combining the uniaxial Fresnel lens and the lenticular lens and other methods. CONSTITUTION:The mass productivity is enhanced by using in combination both uniaxial Fresnel lens 2 bearing an important roll for the brightness and lenticular lens 13 the horizontal diffusing property of which is considerably excellent in comparison with the vertical diffusing property. Furthermore, lenses 2 are set vertically to each other to increase the condensing effect in both the vertical and horizontal directions. As a result, the brightness of the screen can be more increased. And diffusion layer 3 is set at the observer's side in case the combination lens is used.
